Chateau Rouge - Chateau Bambi - Maison Rouge - Red Castle
A few weeks ago (september 2015) we went to Belgium for an urbex trip. This day we visisted two locations (also Chateau Congo). Again we had a lot of fun! We took our time to do a complete explore and had lots of time for taking our pictures.
The red castle (Chateau Rouge) was built in 1889. Most of the people who visited it once think it was a retirement home. I however, would not be surprised if it was a brothel. After the second world war the castle was renovated for hotel purposes. For financial reasons it is closed in 2009 en deserted and forgotten for ever. There are also stories that it is used as a summercamp for kids.
Château Rouge also known as Hotel Torrance, Chateau Titantia, Château Bambi, Red Castle, Hotel Rogue en Kasteel Bambi, is situated in the environment of Huy (province Luik) in Belgium. There is not so much historical information about this place; not so long ago this castle was filled with old furniture. At this time there is nothing left. The outside of the building is beautiful; the name is given because of the color of the bricks. From the year 2015 it is used as an airsoft location (what a pity)
